Oppression was amazing! Elyse's parents die when she is young leaving her with a secret. She doesn't age like normal people. By the time she looks like a 16 year old she's really around 50 years old. By the time she looks 18 she is well into her 80's. For all her life she believes she is the only person with this "disease" but all that changes when she meets William. William knows her secret and the reason her parents hid her from the rest of their kind. The story was entertaining! There were so many surprises, and the Greek mythology that is weaved into this tale is fantastic. The characters are great! Ellie is strong, and independent but quickly comes to rely on Will. Will is perfect! He's strong, handsome, and completely besotted with Ellie. I look forward to reading the next book in this series!
